With their norimono (palanquin) ready to go these shinagata (souvenir) kokeshi from Mount Rokko, a range of mountains in the south eastern prefecture of Hyogo Prefecture, are ready to go! The inscriptions shows that they originally started their journey in when they were first purchased on April 26, 1958. 

With their sculptural silhouettes, and mysterious expressions, nobody can escape the captivating charm of kokeshi.
